Microsoft took a hit Friday as an escaped staff note said its Strategy and Partnership Senior VP Hank Vigil was leaving the company. He was bowing out of the company after 25 years to advise and invest in early startups. AllThingsD's example of the note had that he would remain a "strategic adviser [sic]" to Microsoft even after the switch.
