Withings launches Blood Pressure Monitor for iOS devices

Withings has announced US availability of an accessory for iOS devices, the Blood Pressure Monitor. As with a conventional blood pressure reader, users strap a cuff around their arm, which measures systolic and diastolic figures as well as heart rate. A bundled cable, however, connects Withings' cuff to an iOS device, where data is recorded through a special app that launches automatically.
