Dev shows iOS 5 notifications can have custom widgets

UK developer Will Homer on Friday found that it was possible to develop custom widgets for the Notification Center in iOS 5. Without having to use the SDK, Homer created a classic "hello world" widget with the proper background. The writer went so far as to post sample code on Github for others to show how it works.
