The extra UV coating -- or possibly other factors -- have made the white model of the iPhone 4 ever so slightly thicker than the black model, several sources have found. Both MacRumors and TiPB tested the two models and discovered that the white model was approximately 0.2mm (eight one-thousandths of an inch) thicker, raising the possibility that a few of the most form-fitting cases designed for the black iPhone 4 will be too tight for the white model.
