The developer releases of Appleís upcoming Mac OS X Lion OS have yielded more hints about Appleís likely plans for displays with high pixel densities. While it is known that Mac OS X Lion packs ultra-high resolution support, it is now apparent that the icons in Lion will also be much higher resolution at 1024x1024. This is up from a previous maximum of 512x512.
