Roland adds social, competitive component to drumming

Musical instrument and software maker Roland has added social networking and an easier way to practice to their V-Drums electronic drum sets in the form of a free download for V-Drums users called Friend Jam. The program lets users interact with each other, record performances, compare and contrast elements of their drumming and help them achieve their practice goals.
