Retro-style gaming has become very popular recently thanks to games like Minecraft, but few have taken it to the level of Superbrothers: Sword and Sworcery EP, a new game for the iPad that combines the quest adventure of The Legend of Zelda with the relaxed pacing and (deliberately) blocky graphics of an early Sierra-Online adventure, topped with a mesmerizing ambient soundtrack that creates the necessary mood for a slow-walking adventure game.
