Both of today's offerings for the iPad and iPad 2 could be useful in the same household -- KEM Ventures has a kid-friendly frame and stand for the original iPad (an iPad 2 design is in the works) so that children can work with the older device much more safely, while veteran accessory maker STM Bags is offering a new slim case combo called the Skinny that features both a hard-shell snap-on backing and a magnetic front cover that mimics Apple's Smart Cover ability to put the iPad automatically to sleep, perfect for the parent who's upgraded to the iPad 2.
