Bertrand Serlet -- Apple's senior VP of Mac software engineering -- is leaving the company, according to an official press statement. Taking over for him will be Mac software VP Craig Federighi, who Apple says has been responsible for developing Mac OS X, and managing the Mac OS group for the last two years. Federighi demonstrated Mac OS X Lion at a press event last October.
