The late 2010 revamp of the MacBook Air made it thin, light and very easy to steal. Due to the design, the MacBook Air doesn't have a Kensington security slot like most other Macs, making it difficult to protect it from theft. MacLocks (formerly known as AppleLocks, now a division of Noble Security's CompuLocks) has worked around the problem by creating a clear, form-fitting case called the MacBook Air Lock that incorporates its own security slot.
