Apple sets up iTunes-based donations for Japan

In the wake of Friday's 9.0 earthquake in northern Japan and the subsequent tsunami, Apple has set up a donation portal on iTunes. Visitors can donate in $5, $10, $25, $50, $100 or $200 increments. The company claims that "100 percent" of each donation will go to the American Red Cross, which is offering assistance to its Japanese equivalent.
