Two independent reviews of Appleís new Core i7-powered 13-inch Macbook Pro seem to indicate that Apple may have disabled Intelís Turbo Boost function. The 2.7GHz Core i7 in the Macbook Pro typically ships with the capability to automatically overclock up to a maximum speed of 3.4GHz. During separate testing, both PC Pro and Notebook Journal could not get the chip to enter the Turbo Boost mode.
