HP denies wild rumor of selling off PC business

HP in a statement denied a rumor circulating Thursday that it would sell off its PC business. Communications chief Bill Wohl accused Taiwan's Commercial Times of "irresponsible reporting" and called the talk just "rumors and speculation." He contended that the rumor was flawed on its face given how important PCs were to the company.
