Strata Design, whose CX suite is one of several top contenders in the 3D CAD field on the Mac, is offering its entry-level Strata Design 3D SE software on the Mac App Store for $50, even though it includes most of the same tools found in the most high-end of Strata's offeringsStrata Design 3D CX. The program includes the company's Raydiosity rendering engine, and the ability to import 3D models from Google's 3D Warehouse -- meaning beginners can get started quickly and still produce professional-quality rendered results.
