A member of the XDA Developers forum has successfully hacked the system kernel of the Motorola Xoom overclocking thee dual-core Tegra 2 processor from 1GHz to to 1.5GHz. The hack makes the Tegra 2 even more powerful than the recently announced Tegra 2 3D. Users applying the hack also have the ability to overclock the chip more moderately, with options to boost the chip to 1.2GHz and to 1.4GHz. The video below outlines the process.
