Apple patent application hints at iTunes cloud features

The USPTO has published another Apple patent application, Audio Clips for Announcing Remotely Accessed Media Items, according to AppleInsider. The patent describes a scheme with a centralized list of media files, but with the distinction that only some of the content is local, the rest being situated on a remote server. Apple's filing is particularly concerned with VoiceOver-style announcements of content, which could be either kept locally or streamed from a remote source.
