The Icon Factory has won approval of Twitterific for Mac, and it is now available through the Mac App Store. Although version 4 of the program is new to the Mac, it has been rebuilt from the ground up to be entirely consistent with the popular iPhone and iPad versions of the app -- supporting multiple accounts, colorizing tweets, and viewing profiles without losing one's place in the timeline. One marked difference from the mobile versions, however, is that the Mac edition has full keyboard control.
