The Los Angeles Times is reporting that more than $10 million in counterfeit iPods, iPhones and other items were discovered in a warehouse in downtown LA as part of a "sophisticated, well-funded" operation that shipped in the fakes from Asia to pass off as "very authentic"-looking counterfeits, according to police spokespeople. Buyers would have been unlikely to notice anything was awry until they connected their purchases to iTunes, police said.
