JVC this morning unveiled a new camera that theoretically gives the best of moving and still photography. The GC-PX1, previously shown as just a concept at CES, can shoot 1080p video at a rare 60 frames per second, hitting the peak 36Mbps bandwidth quality of the AVCHD (H.264) spec. It nonetheless has a traditional camera grip and can snap 10.6-megapixel photos with full manual controls.
