Citing "unprecedented demand" for the CDMA iPhone, Verizon Wireless has asked its employees to "postpone" their own purchases of the iPhone 4, including the employees' families, for the time being. "Customers and non-customers alike have waited for years [and they] aren't the only ones who are excited -- employees are, too," wrote Verizon COO John Stratton in a company-wide memo. "While I share your excitement we all need to do our part to meet our customers' needs, [and] this means putting our customers first."
