Kongregate app incident raises Google openness concerns

Google ended a dispute over an Android app on Tuesday that raised broader questions about the policies behind the Android Market. It re-allowed Kongregate Arcade after briefly pulling it for violating rules banning apps with their own app stores. The title had originally downloaded Flash apps to cache them locally, to the device's SD card; it now uses a standard WebKit engine and uses a cache to save the games.
