A company called IASUS has just shipped its NT3 throat microphone that promises to allow users to have clear conversations no matter what their environment. Instead of picking up a speaker's voice, it relies on the vibrations in a person's throat from their neck. The NT3 uses a Noise Terminator transponder to pick up these vibrations, eliminating air as the medium of conduction for the voice delivery.
