NPD survey: Apple's Mac sales up 18 percent over holidays

Ahead of Apple's Q1 2011 report tomorrow -- the company's fiscal year begins on September 1st rather than January 1st -- sales analysts NPD Group are showing that the company's year-over-year Mac sales for the holiday season were up 18 percent, foreshadowing what may be the best single quarter for Mac sales in Apple's history, reports AppleInsider.
