The iPad can now add "time portal" to its lengthy list of abilities, thanks to programmer Martin Kool and his Sarien.net website, where customised iPad versions of classic Sierra On-Line 1980s computer games such as King's Quest, Space Quest, Gold Rush and others have been revived and made playable as full-screen web games played through the browser.
