Orb on Friday unveiled a new streaming app designed to use existing set-top boxes for Internet viewing. Orb BR streams web-only video like Hulu, as well as local network media, to most Internet-aware Blu-ray players and the PlayStation 3. It can preserve the quality of the source up to a full 1080p and supports remote control from Android and iOS apps (App Store).
