Analyst: Apple TV's million-unit mark 'fairly immaterial'

Apple's announcement that it should crack 1 million in second-generation Apple TV sales by the end of the week is "positive but fairly immaterial," notes Kaufman analyst Shaw Wu. He remarks that although a million units per quarter fits in with high-end forecasts, the number still only translates into about $400 million in annual revenue. For contrast, consensus estimates figure Apple taking in $88 billion in overall revenue during FY2011.
