Google may try to dial back some of the expectations for its tablet version of Android on at least a superficial level if a claim from a developer source is accurate. Although most have assumed Honeycomb would be treated as Android 3.0, indicating a major overhaul, it would now be treated as a minor revision and called Android 2.4 instead. Android and Me heard it would first start shipping in February, around Mobile World Congress.
