Ansca Mobile, a company founded by two former Adobe engineers, has updated its Mac-based mobile development platform, Corona. The program allows developers to write one codebase that works with both iOS and Android devices, charging only a flat annual subscription fee. Based on user feedback, the company has merged its Game Edition into the core product, changed the licensing terms to allow for an unlimited trial period, and added new audio, Facebook and MapView APIs to integrate those elements directly into apps.
