Apple has notified iOS developers in an e-mail that the company's Push Notification service will upgrade to a 2048-bit TLS/SSL certificate beginning December 22nd. While this will not require changes to existing iOS apps, the company explains, developers will need to update their own push notification servers to the higher standard.
