LaCie has debuted a Neil Pouton-designed casing for 2.5-inch hard drives, digital cameras or Nintendo hand-held devices called the LaCie Tank, featuring a tread-like design associated with the tough, armored fighting vehicles. The case is shock- and drop-resistant to US military standards, IP-63 certified against dust and rain, and made of polypropylene and rubber with customizable foam inserts inside.
