Eight Hanukkah apps for iPhone, iPad

David Greenbaum, the Apple columnist for GigaOm, has put together a handy list of iPad and iPhone applications to help celebrate, raise awareness of, or just learn more about Hanukkah, the eight-day celebration of Jewish heritage that begins tomorrow at sundown, specifically commemorating the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in the second century BC, where according to legend consecrated olive oil that should have only lasted for one day instead burned for eight, and was deemed a miracle.
