Warehouse retailer Sam's Club, owned by Walmart, is finally beginning to put the iPad on sale as was promised in October, shoppers say. The Sam's Club units are being offered at a slight discount. Whereas Apple charges $499 for a 16GB Wi-Fi iPad, the same option costs $488 at Sam's. Wi-Fi tablets are $11 cheaper, in general, while 3G-ready ones have been discounted by $20.
