Storage maker LaCie has released a new Mac USB 3.0 driver. As no Mac ships with a USB 3.0-ready port by default, the driver can only support accessories on a Mac Pro equipped a LaCie PCI Express adapter, or a MacBook Pro with the company's ExpressCard/34 adapter. In either case, Mac OS X 10.5 is required.
