Amazon today marked two major milestones in the history of the Kindle for both the hardware and its books. The company said its e-book sales in the past month were larger than for all paper books combined, climbing as high as two to one. It wouldn't give numbers, but the growth was rapid as Kindle books were already outselling hardcovers in July.
