Facebook's fifth round of venture capital funding could include an injection from Apple, a rumor may have revealed this evening. A new source said that the social network's Series E funding would be led by just two main companies, the existing investor Digital Sky Technologies and Apple. The Mashable tip would have the funding not only bring Facebook back into Ping but see it worked deeper into iLife, iTunes and iWork.
