Numerous stores have said today that Nikon is dropping the D3000 and D5000. Both entry-level DSLRs are slowing down and in some cases are no longer shipping to some camera stores, according to Nikon Rumors. The scale back was largely expected with the launch of the D3100 but leaves no interim camera between that and the D7000.
