Rogers this week announced it has become the first wireless provider in Canada to begin trials of a Long Term Evolution (LTE) network for 4G. The technical trial is being conducted in cooperation with Ericsson Canada in Ottawa, the country's capital. The theoretical maximum wireless transfer speeds of LTE are 150Mbps.
