A new mobile application, which allows those who are hard of hearing to make video calls through the iPod Touch has been released. ZVRS uses the video camera found in the latest iPod Touch models to establish a video link between deaf and hearing callers. The feed is sent through a video relay service (VRS), which places an interpreter in the middle of the call who translates back and forth between the two participants.
