AMD warns of revenue loss due to weak notebook market

AMD tonight warned that its revenue would swing to a decline in the summer. It expected revenue to drop one to four percent from the $1.65 billion this spring as it faced "weaker than expected" interest in its chips. The shortfall was especially severe for notebook chips in North America and Western Europe.
