Pentax K-5 jumps to 16.2 megapixels, better autofocus

Pentax today added a new mid-range SLR to its normally low-end mix. The K-5 has the highest resolution of any Pentax camera at 16.2 megapixels and puts it into more direct contention. Its CMOS sensor can shoot between ISO 100 and 12,800 with an extreme 51,200 setting and is matched by a significantly boosted 11-point autofocusing system.
