iAd expands to allow in-ad app downloads

Apple has made a subtle but important change to iAd, allowing for in-ad app downloads, accounts say. The ads are delivered in a special format, resembling the layout of an App Store page. From there people can download an app directly, without having to leave the host app or launch the separate App Store interface. A pop-up dialog box should ask people to confirm a download.
