Verizon meeting shows rebrand, no short-term iPhone plans

Details escaping about Verizon's mystery meetings have revealed both a major new marketing spin and its lack of short-term plans for the iPhone. It should drop its longstanding "can you hear me now?" slogan in favor of "rule the air" and will shorten the company's name to Verizon from its usual Verizon Wireless. The combined effect would be "bolder," Droid-Life's sources said.
