iPhone 4 pre-orders result in long lineups

With the beginning of pre-orders for the iPhone 4, large lineups have formed at some stores, reports say. The worst appear to be in Tokyo, where in some cases they extend well down the length of a street with several hundred people. Japan's situation is unique as a result of not having online pre-orders.
