AT&T is exploring ways of helping some iPad 3G buyers hold on to their unlimited data plans, according to an anonymous executive at the carrier. The company is officially ending unlimited data on the iPad 3G as of June 7th, with the provision that people on renewing unlimited plans will be able to avoid caps. Because Apple is unable to meet demand for the tablet, however, there are people wanting to lock in unlimited data that may be prevented from doing so.
