Microsoft revealed that it may have aggressive goals for Windows Phone 7 through a presentation at ReMIX in France. The company endorsed IDC data that showed it shipping a total of 30 million WP7 smartphones by the end of 2011. Much of the increase would be helped by the rise of smartphones, which could account for 40 percent of sales in 2011 compared to just 14 percent this year.
