Sans Digital has announced a new NAS unit, the MobileNAS MN4LA+B. The MN4LA+B is a four-bay unit supporting both iSCSI and NAS, and featuring dual Gigabit Ethernet ports. The RAID 6 tower uses an dual-core Atom D510 1.66GHz processor, 1GB of 667MHz DDR2 RAM, and up to 8TB of storage space. It supports a peak 80MBps of throughput while consuming less power and generating less heat than a previous model.
