Carrara 8 adds 64-bit support, new lighting tools

DAZ 3D has introduced new versions of its 3D modeling, rendering, and animation software, Carrara 8 and Carrara 8 Pro. The upgrades offer a series of overall enhancements, as well as changes specific to the Pro version of Carrara 8. New features for both include up to 200% increased rendering performance for complex scenes, improved FBX and COLLADA data exchange, as well as support for multi-threading on either the Mac or Windows operating systems.
