Google set to launch Chrome Web Store for apps, games

Google has announced plans to launch the Chrome Web Store, an open marketplace that developers can use to distribute web-based applications. A preview shown at the company's I/O conference suggests that the portal will allow users to preview apps, read or write reviews, rate content, report problems, and directly install various titles.
