UK carriers debut iPad 3G plans; Japan's DoCoMo jumps ship

In parallel with Apple launching international pre-orders for the iPad, two more UK carriers beyond Orange have announced 3G service plans. O2 is selling two monthly options: 1GB for £10, or 3GB for £15. People who only need a brief amount of data can pay £2 for 500MB a day. Subscribers to any of the options get free access to BT Openzone Wi-Fi.
