Google as part of a major overhaul of its search results page changed the layout for its Android and iPhone search pages as well. While it will still show just the results in the main view, a new button will show the filter sidebar that now appears on the desktop. The categories are tuned to searches more likely to be made on a smartphone and whittle results down into news, products and live updates from Twitter or other sources.
